På kamp i Tokyo
FC Tokyo and Tokyo Verdy share the Ajinomoto Stadium out in Chōfu, and from the 2026/27 season Japan's J.League itself is switching from a calendar-year season to a European-style autumn-to-spring one for the first time in the competition's history.

How do FC Tokyo season tickets work?
FC Tokyo's annual SOCIO pass gives a fixed seat for the season without buying a ticket for each match individually, entering on a QR code, and SOCIO/membership holders also get priority pricing on other games.
Why is the 2026/27 J.League season different from previous years?
From 2026/27 the J.League is moving from a calendar-year (spring-to-autumn) season to an autumn-to-spring one, with the new format starting in August 2026 and running through to June 2027, including a winter break.
Is Tokyo's Olympic stadium ever used for club football?
Yes — the Japan National Stadium, built for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, regularly hosts Japan national team matches and the Emperor's Cup final, and it stages occasional J.League fixtures too.
